What it does
Zapier MCP turns your Zapier account into an MCP server: you pick which app actions to expose, and the AI client executes them (send email, post to Slack, create CRM records). The tool set is user-configured — not fixed; each underlying app action runs deterministically through Zapier connectors. Each user gets a unique endpoint URL containing a secret token.
Example prompts
- Send an email summarizing today’s standup to my team.
- Add a new row to my Google Sheet with this lead’s details.
Tools provided
- configured_actions — User-selected app actions (e.g. Gmail Send Email, Slack Send Message, Sheets Create Row) — chosen in the Zapier MCP dashboard, not a fixed built-in list.
What you'll need to connect
This agent will ask you for the following. You enter them when you connect — they're encrypted and never shared with the creator.
- Zapier MCP server URL (per-user, contains a secret token)Generate your personal endpoint at mcp.zapier.com — the URL itself is the bearer secret.Get this from mcp.zapier.com's account or API settings.Paste the value as a single line.Only sent to: mcp.zapier.com
How you're protected
FindAgent runs these safety checks on every agent automatically. They're always on and can't be turned off.
- Prompt-injection scanning
Every request is checked for known prompt-injection and jailbreak attempts before the agent runs. This is always on.
- Secret-leak scanning
Every response is scanned for leaked API keys, tokens, and other secrets before it reaches you. This is always on.
